Exploring Different Types of Hemorrhoid Treatment

Hemorrhoid treatment
Hemorrhoid treatment can come in many forms. There are over-the-counter creams that can be used to ease the inflammation, and there are also medicines that can be taken orally to produce the same effect.

There's pain medication, and then there's the Sitz bath, which is when you sit in the air about a few inches above warm water for around 15-20 minutes daily. The Sitz bath is helpful in reducing the inflammation, which is the primary cause of pain. All of these provide temporary relief, but one of the major steps one can take to fight this condition is to make changes in one's diet.

Straining when passing hard stool can worsen hemorrhoids, that's why shifting to a high-fiber diet is a very good solution for this condition. Dietary fiber, which can be found in many fruits and vegetables, promotes natural bowel movement, and maintains a normal stool consistency, making hemorrhoids less painful and easier to manage.
